The AimLoan.com San Diego Blues Festival returns this year as an in-person event featuring nine musical acts on the downtown San Diego waterfront. Proceeds benefit the San Diego Food Bank’s hunger-relief programs.
Now entering its twelfth year, the 2022 AimLoan.com San Diego Blues Festival returns as an in-person event on the downtown San Diego waterfront.
The event lives up to its mission to provide great blues at an affordable price, and raise money to support the battle against hunger in our community.
With names such as Mavis Staples, Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, Billy Gibbons, Los Lobos, Eric Burdon & the Animals, Elvin Bishop and Booker T. Jones, no fewer than 10 members of the Blues Hall of Fame and five members of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame have performed on our stage.
The annual event has generated more than $1.5 million in funds for the San Diego Food Bank’s hunger-relief programs. In addition, the annual food drive at the festival has received over 15 tons of food donations.
All of this on a general admission ticket priced 50 percent below comparable festivals.
